An Intimate Engagement Session at St Andrews | Nicola and Scott
Welcome to our blog where we share love stories of our lovely couples who are going to or have recently tied the knot and said those special words âI doâ.
In this blog post weâre going to share Nicola and Scottâs love story which began in the historic town of St Andrews - a town they both studied in and met each other so indeed, a place close to their hearts. Having met whilst at university and living there for the duration of their degrees there were a number of spots they were drawn to. They even mentioned they loved the autumnal months so that was what they envisioned for the look and feel of their album.
The couple decided they wanted to take photos in all the locations that were special to them which included St Salvator's Hall, East Sands beach (and the pier) and St Salvator's quad.
During the pre-wedding shoot the first spot we wandered down to was East Sands beach which is located on the south side of the old harbour and boasts a lot of water-sports including surfing and sailing. Following that, we made our way into the city making a stop for some photos at St Salvatorâs Chapel, the hub of life in Scotland's oldest University and a rare and beautiful example of late gothic architecture. Later on and as the sun was about to set, we headed back to East Sands beach to catch the beautiful sunset which was then followed by blue hour, the perfect time for us to create some magical shots. During blue hour, we took out our lanterns and as I photographed the couple, they were able to let loose and have fun enjoying this intimate moment together in a peaceful and serene setting.
Here are the sweet and memorable moments from Nicola and Scottâs pre-wedding shoot, without further ado, here they areâŠEnjoy!
