Hawkstone Hall Celebrity Destination Wedding

One of the best parts of being wedding photographers and videographers are the places you get to work at and the people you get to work with. We were thrilled to work with Anuja Joshi & Ankur Rathee for their luxury destination wedding in the English countryside at Hawkstone Hall with 200 of their friends and family. What a celebration!

Anunja Joshi & Ankur Rathee

Anuja Joshi & Ankur Rathi are a beautiful bollywood celebrity couple who are based in New York and Los Angeles and travel between the US and Mumbai for their work. Anuja was born into a family of actors, being the daughter of actor Master Alanjar and the niece of Pallavi Joshi and she herself plays the lead role in Hello Mini on MX Player as well as starring in The resident on Fox. Ankur is well known for his roles in Undekhi, Brochara, Netflix’s Eternally Confused and Eager for Love, Inside Edge and Made In Heaven and also appears in films such as Thappad, The Tashkent Files and Taish.

The two met as co-stars on the set of a tribute film that pays homage to 100 years of Hindi Cinema directed by Siddhi Sundar and Raashi Desai. When they met, they were young college students who shared the same goal of becoming professional actors and were drawn together through their love of film and acting. The happy couple got engaged in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic where Ankur drove 4500 kilometres from California to Maryland to pop the question! Fast Forward to 2022 and here we are capturing their stunning wedding at Hawkstone Hall.

Hawkstone Hall is a truly stunning location for a luxury wedding, and was the perfect fit for Anuja & Ankur. The building is 500 years old and Grade 1 listed, nestled in the English countryside in Shropshire. It’s the perfect blend of heritage and luxury and perfect for couples wanting to celebrate with their nearest and dearest but in an intimate setting with all the luxuries at your disposal. For the celebrity couple, it was incredibly important that they were able to enjoy their special day in a wonderful setting away from any journalists, paparazzi and reporters. You couldn’t have picked a better destination for this couple other than Hawkstone Hall.
